Quinta Das Escomoeiras is located on the banks of the Tâmega River and offers breathtaking views over the surrounding mountains and forests. The town center of Celorico de Basta is 8.7 km from Quinta Das Escomoeiras, and the Alvão Natural Park is 38.7 km away. Quinta Das Escomoeiras produces white, red, and rosé wines bearing the Quinta’s name, made from the region’s traditional grape varieties. The estate is environmentally friendly and, in 2009, embarked on an ambitious project to produce electricity, with the installation of a large number of solar panels on the roof of the main house. Our vines and fruit trees are 100% herbicide-free and are part of an integrated production process, because caring for the future starts today.
