Casa de Cello is a family business that has been cultivating its vines for four generations.
The current owner, João Pedro Araujo, began to adopt a more commercial approach in the 1980s. Today, the family owns two estates, Quinta da Vegia in the Dão region and Quinta de Sanjoanne in the Vinhos Verdes region. As an independent winemaker, Casa de Cello produces wines exclusively from its own grapes, controlling every stage of the process, from vine to bottle. Quinta da Vegia and Quinta de Sanjoanne are certified for sustainable agriculture, and produce healthy, high-quality grapes to ensure that the terroirs are clearly expressed in their wines.
